Hyperice Normatec sleeve stand - design, production & rollout

Client Overview:

Hyperice is a leading company in the sports recovery industry, specialising in innovative technologies to enhance athletic performance and recovery. One of their flagship products is the Normatec Compression Leg Sleeves, designed to provide effective compression therapy for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Project Objective:

Hyperice approached our team with a specific request to design, manufacture, and deliver product stands tailored to showcase their Normatec Compression Leg Sleeves. The objective was to create stands that not only upheld the functionality of the product but also reflected the sleek and modern aesthetic of the Hyperice brand.

Challenges:

1. Designing stands that would securely hold the Normatec line while aligning with Hyperice's brand image.

2. Ensuring durability and longevity of the stands for consistent usage in various environments.

3. Creating stands with a perfect height to accommodate both standing and seated positions for ease of use.

 

Solution:

After thorough consultation with Hyperice and careful consideration of their brand identity, our team devised a solution that merged functionality with aesthetics. We opted for a textured black powder-coated steel frame, providing both durability and a modern appearance. To accentuate Hyperice's branding, we incorporated a white under plate to make the logo prominently visible from an operational position (see picture 5).

For optimal usability, we customised the stands with specific features:

• The head of the stand was precisely cut to fit a mount tailored for the Normatec console, ensuring a secure fit.

• A firm hook was welded onto the stand at a suitable height to securely hold the Normatec Compression Leg Sleeves in place.

• The standing height of the stands was set at 140cm, facilitating easy access to the console for inputting settings.

• The hook height was fixed at 100cm, providing a perfect seated position for users to lift and replace the Normatec legs during usage.

To streamline the installation process for Hyperice's clients, we packaged each stand with all necessary fixings and the console mount, ensuring hassle-free setup.

The collaboration between our team and Hyperice resulted in the successful creation of product stands that not only met the functional requirements but also aligned seamlessly with the brand's identity. The stands provided a visually appealing display for the Normatec Compression Leg Sleeves, enhancing their visibility in retail and promotional settings.
