Client Overview
Hyperice is a leading global brand in recovery technology, renowned for its innovative products designed to enhance muscle recovery and improve performance. They approached ADP Sports Ltd to create a bespoke recovery area for a high-end gym opening in London. This area needed to integrate their flagship products into a seamless, functional, and aesthetically pleasing design that aligned with the luxury standards of the gym.

Project Objectives

1. To design and build a custom recovery space that showcases Hyperice’s cutting-edge recovery tools.

2. To create product stands that incorporate Hyperice’s range, including Normatec leg sleeves, Hypervolt massage guns, Hypersphere, and rollers, while enhancing the user experience.

3. To ensure the recovery area is visually appealing, functional, and intuitive for gym members, with integrated charging solutions and storage.

4. To prototype and produce custom elements, such as a fixable mount for the Hypersphere, for optimal product integration.

Challenges

1. Custom Product Integration: The product stands had to be tailored to fit specific Hyperice recovery tools, such as the Normatec leg sleeves, while providing storage and ease of use for gym members.

2. Design Complexity: The design had to reflect the high-end gym’s luxurious aesthetic while maintaining durability and functionality, particularly with custom-made furniture like chaise lounges and stands with integrated charging systems.

3. Prototyping and Testing: Creating a seamless fixable mount for the Hypersphere required extensive prototyping, testing, and 3D printing to ensure stability and prevent the product from rolling during use.

4. Integrated Charging: The product stands had to include charging capabilities for devices such as the Hypervolt and Hypersphere, without requiring manual plug-ins, ensuring the area remained clutter-free and user-friendly.

 

Solutions​

1. Custom Cabinet for Normatec: ADP Sports designed a bespoke cabinet that provided storage for shoes and held the Normatec leg sleeve console securely. The cabinet also included hooks for hanging the leg sleeves, allowing for a streamlined and user-friendly experience.

2. Chaise Lounges for Optimal Recovery: Custom chaise lounges were built to ensure maximum comfort during recovery sessions, enhancing the overall luxury feel of the recovery area.

3. Product Stands with Integrated Charging: Small stands were developed for Hypervolt massage guns, Hypersphere, and rollers. These stands were designed with built-in charging, allowing users to simply place products on the stand without the need for manual charging, maintaining the area’s clean and seamless appearance.

4. Hypersphere Mount Prototype: A fixable mount for the Hypersphere was designed using 3D printing technology. The mount featured a wide base and deep crater to hold the Hypersphere securely in place, preventing it from rolling around. The mount was then fixed from underneath, perfectly integrating it into the product stand.

1. Seamless Integration of Hyperice Products: The bespoke recovery area achieved a seamless integration of Hyperice’s product range, offering gym members an intuitive and sophisticated experience.

2. Enhanced User Experience: The custom-made cabinets and stands, combined with the integrated charging solutions, allowed users to interact with the recovery tools without hassle, elevating the overall functionality of the space.
